General Information

We are an independent, non-denominational church that worships in the Methodist tradition. We disaffiliated from the UMC in May, 2023, but still use the United Methodist Hymnal and have the same pastor, Rev. Jeff Muehl (who also is the pastor at the Flatonia Methodist Church) we have had since 2016. 

Pastor Jeff preaches from the Bible, usually focusing on one of the lectionary readings for any given Sunday. We sing traditional hymns from the hymnal, celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month (all are welcome without reservation to come to the Lord's Table), we pray, we take an offering, and we always include The Apostle's Creed and The Lord's Prayer as part of our Sunday Worship. ​​
